PROFILE

I am a licensed architect with 15 years of experience in residential and commercial architecture, interior design, and project management. My professional work has emphasized multidisciplinary collaboration and leadership of complex projects, giving me a practical, interdisciplinary perspective on design.

For the past 12 years, I have taught architecture and interior design across a range of studio-based and technical courses. My teaching connects design education with professional practice through authentic projects, industry engagement, and active learning.

I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at San José State University, where my research focuses on architectural design studio pedagogy in the community college context and its implications for effective, student-centered design education.

Across my work as an architect, educator, and scholar, I am committed to preparing emerging designers to think critically, collaborate effectively, and engage meaningfully with the communities they serve.
