CONTRIBUTIONS TO DESIGN EDUCATION

RESEARCH FOCUS: DESIGN EDUCATION

SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY
Doctoral thesis studies architectural design studio in the community college context. Research will explore and discover how instructors and students perceive the teaching and learning practices used in their studio, and will consider the impact of these practices on student engagement and learning.
Expected completion 2028.

Invited presenter at the international Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Delivered the session, "Skill Building for Success: Lifelong Learning in the Kitchen and Bath Industry," highlighting strategies for professional development and continuing education. Selected for inclusion as on-demand educational programming.
